The people behind Nura Recovery

Nura Recovery building exterior in San Rafael
Michael Triolo

Michael Triolo

Co-founder & CEO

Michael has worked in substance use treatment and recovery support for close to a decade, beginning in community-based treatment settings before joining Marin County’s Recovery Coach program in 2017, one of the first initiatives of its kind in the region.

Over the years he has worked across housing support for people in recovery, county dual-diagnosis outpatient programming, and interventions, and holds certifications spanning professional intervention, medication-assisted treatment, and co-occurring disorders. In 2019 he founded a nonprofit sober living organization serving Marin County.

Michael co-founded Nura Recovery to bring that same individualized, wrap-around approach to a dedicated outpatient program in San Rafael.
